  • Application Image & Content Use
    **Terms and Conditions for Image Use** **1. Acceptance of Terms** By submitting images during the registration process for The Event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not submit any images. **2. Grant of License** By providing images as part of your registration for The Event, you hereby grant The Event organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of these images in any media now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose related to The Event, including promotional and marketing materials. **3. Image Content Requirements** All images submitted must be your original work and must not infringe on the rights of any third party. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to grant the license described herein. **4. Use of Images** The Event organisers may use the images for: - Event promotion and advertising - Event-related publications and websites - Social media posts - Printed materials such as brochures and flyers - Any other media or format used to promote or document The Event **5. No Compensation** You acknowledge and agree that you will not receive any compensation or recognition for the use of your images, other than the potential exposure provided by their use in connection with The Event. **6. Credit and Attribution** While The Event organisers may provide credit to the image owner, there is no obligation to do so. When practical, The Event organizers will attempt to credit the image owner. **7. Privacy and Personal Information** The Event organisers will handle any personal information provided in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Submitted images may be used in a manner that makes it possible to identify individuals in the images. **8. Indemnification** You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Event organizers, their affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your submission of images, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any rights of another. **9. Modification of Terms** The Event organisers reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on The Event website. Your continued submission of images or use of the images by The Event organisers after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new terms. **10. Governing Law** These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles. **11.     We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We strive to ensure your data is kept safe and that we comply with the legal obligations of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the ‘2018 Act’) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’). We will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”) unless and until the GDPR is no longer directly applicable in the UK, together with any national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation as amended or updated from time to time in the UK, and any successor legislation to the GDPR and the DPA (together “Data Protection Legislation”). By visiting the website at www.theevent.com do not consent, please do not submit any personal data to us. We use Google Analytics to collect standard data and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out information, such as numbers of visitors and how they navigate around our site. This information is collected in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

    Information you give: You may give us information about you by completing inquiry forms on the website. The information you give us may include your name, email address, address/location, and phone number. We will ask you to confirm that you give us permission to contact you. We will retain this information while we are corresponding with you or providing services to you or to a Patient you represent. We will retain this information for as long as you or the Patient you represent is registered with us. You may also give us your personal medical information that is stored securely in your patients notes on our medical operating system. The Event will use your personal information for the following purposes only: to identify you when you contact us; to help identify services and/or products which you could have from us or selected partners; to help administer, and contact you about improved administration of any services and products we have provided, provide now or in the future; to carry out marketing analysis and customer profiling, to conduct research, including creating statistical information; to help to prevent and detect fraud or loss; to contact you in any way (including mail, email, telephone, or text) about products and services offered by us and/or selected partners unless you have previously asked us not to do so; to keep you up to date with our Membership Plans, under which we will give you Membership information and details of discounts and offers negotiated on behalf of our Members. We may allow other people and organisations to use information we hold about you if we have been legitimately asked to provide information for legal or regulatory purposes or as part of legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings. We will, however, always use every reasonable effort to ensure sufficient protections are in place to safeguard your personal information. We may monitor and record communications with you (including phone conversations and emails) for quality assurance and compliance reasons. Where you give us information on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have provided them with the information set out in these provisions and that they have not objected to such use of their personal information. Where you give us sensitive data about yourself or another person (such as health details) you agree (and confirm that the other person has agreed) to our processing such information in the manner set out in these provisions.

No personal medical information is stored on this website. We use a secure electronic patient record system to store all personal medical information. Access to patient medical records is strictly monitored and secured. Our Medical system, Meddbase (MMS), is NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSP Toolkit) compliant, ISO27001 certified and follows the strict information handling requirements of these standards. The practice may share information with other professionals involved in your medical care, for example to enable a referral to a specialist, with your consent.

  • How to Enter
    The guestlist will be open and accepting entries from 00.01am on 1st January 2024 up until 23.59pm on 31st December 2024 (the “Entry Period”). Entries can only be made by completing our online form. Any attempts to join the guestlist by any other means will not be accepted.
  • Eligibility
    The guestlist is open internationally to all aged 18 years or over.
  • How do you get invited
    The successful individuals on the guestlist will be chosen by The Event team. Entrants who are not successful for the upcoming event will still be eligible for and entered into any subsequent events on other dates or locations.
  • How you will be notified
    The successful guests will be notified either by phone or by email (using details provided at entry) within the month following the announcement. If a guest does not respond within 14 days of being notified, then the guests’ invite will be forfeited and we will be entitled to select another guest in accordance with the process described above.
  • The Event
    Once the guestlist is full, The Event will no longer be available to new entries even if entries are being accepted and other Events are still available. Invites are allocated to guests by us and guests will not be entitled to select which of the available Events they can attend. More information will be sent to the guests via email within 30 days of being notified of their invite. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address you provide to us is correct and we will not be liable if any guests do not receive their invite as a result of providing an incorrect email address. The invites for each of the selected guests are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. We reserve the right to replace the invite with an alternative Event of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so.
  • Data protection and publicity
    Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in in our The Event – Privacy Policy.
